My first sales boss was this lady that I just absolutely was hot for. I was just blown away, she was beautiful and super smart and of course she treated new reps like me so well it just made it impossible not to like her.


But mostly...she was hot as hell.

I was working at a top 10 3PL logistics brokerage right after I got out of the army when it happened. They have this scheme where trainees or brand new AE’s have to work as essentially a slave to an established broker for 6 months before moving onto their own account. Needless to say my first boss/experienced broker was this BAT SHIT (super attractive) crazy girl from Michigan. I was moved onto another account within a month due to a combination of the rumor mill and messing around in the handicap stall on company time.

Ah! Gotcha. Love it. I’ve been finding it more and more beneficial. My CEO casually mentioned that I’d be one of the last people to be fired/laid off because of some veteran tax credit the company gets… heard of anything like that?

Fair enough. IMO there’s nothing about this that makes it only geared towards women. You could easily have a boss you are attracted to that’s a man or a woman and have a story… Additionally, Corp bro started this war room and he had a 2-3 day streak of posting and talking about this recently. Seems pretty on brand. Sorry if you’re offended though, I agree that shouldn’t be happening.

I’m actually not offended - more annoyed as I don’t think guys can understand how much crap women have to deal with at work in male dominated industries? I’m a female running a team of all men. The bro culture we have is great- at times - don’t get me wrong but every once in a while I’m like ok clean it up a bit guys. “She’s a rocket, oh she’s a rocket oh I’d like to smash her” etc. It’s just eye rolling and weird to me- like we had a work event and one of the guys leaned in to kiss me goodbye? What the actual fuck. Do you kiss the guys on the team goodbye? Lol. I’m not the PC police by any means but I was shocked to see this post and it instantly irritated me bc of my own personal experience.
