Ever met an enterprise haggler?

I feel like the bigger a company’s logo and reputation are, the more they try to milk them for a better price.

Now, I absolutely HATE discounts, but especially LOATHE giving discounts to people who have a budget big enough to pay for my yearly wages plus commission in the bat of an eye.

Do you have any horror stories with enterprise hagglers?

Yes, a fortune 5 company is fighting us on legal definitions and refusing to pay for an overage. This is a company that spends about $300M a year on fucking snacks for their employees yet won't pay for the software they use.

I am passing it off to the next rep on my way out and am so excited to not deal with these POS IT guys anymore.

100% in the past year I've deal dealt with fortune 6 and fortune 1. I've never met more shrewd negotiators. They know that many vendors would fall over themselves to earn their business and they lord it over you the entire time.

Which, in most cases, gives them lower quality products/services. Their loss.
