Congratulations, you got one of the hardest Sales jobs ever to get.
Now that you're here, in the EBU, you get 3 accounts that no one has sold into for 5 years.
A $2M quota.
And the entire time you're trying to break into these awful accounts you're being talked down to like some entry level BDR who failed junior college.
Sales paradise!
All time favorite moment:
3 weeks into the job, I asked my manager for help (it was my first SaaS gig), the response I got was as follows (via e-mail):
"New guys [there were 3 of us], don't ever come to me for help unless you've exhausted your entire collection of resources. I'm not here to babysit you. Once you've done that, formulate an idea and a position and be are prepared to defend it."
Anyway, feel free to post your stories of torture, fellow Ex-Forcers!
