Experience transitioning from IC to Sales Leader?

I'm in the process of working on a transition from an IC role to a Sales Leadership role. If you've made the jump, what has been the best and the worst part of the transition? What advice would you give?

Being a leader in its simplest form is being able to do two things. 1) clearly define the process to which you (the team) was successful in selling 2) facilitate your teams execution of that process to achieve consistent results. If you can do that, and truly care about your team, the rest will take care of itselfย
