Family/Home dynamics around "that time of the month/quarter"

Over the eight years we've been together, my wife has picked up on the fact that my mood and behavior shift dramatically at the end of the month and even more so at the end of a quarter. It's gotten to the point where she meal plans for things I can drag into the office easily and eat from my desk. She's even conditioned my kids so they know there are certain days that "dad needs extra hugs today." How do your family/significant others/friends support your ridiculous lifestyle at "crunch time?"

Great to hear you have a fantastic family dynamic @Cogswantstoknow!

Few years away from any of that myself, but good to hear there's people making it work.ย

My dad struggled with that crunch time stress/family dynamic as an exec, so definitely something I'm cognisant of.

I make sure to remind my wife when itโ€™s crunch time, but I try REALLY hard to not let any of that spill out of the home office.

My wife understands that at the end of every month itโ€™s crunch time.ย

My family and in laws even try their best to not schedule family events that will take me out of the office the last 4 or 5 business days of each month.ย
