Favorite charity?

Had a stellar Q1 and decided to give a little extra (not flexing but I like to give back regardless of my performance). It’s usually a donation to local Veterans and hunger charities. Gonna give to them but any recommendations to send that “little extra” to?

Nice of you. :)

I like charities centered around animals. The Humane Society, local shelter/rescues or a wild animal  rehabilitation centre are my picks.

Second to this. You gotta do your research to make sure the local rescues are good though!

Definitely. There are several reputable ones where I live but I've heard horror stories as well. Humane Society is a safe bet, I think in the states the ASPCA is similar.

Local SPCA gets my vote. If I'm going to give money away I'd like it to go to the place we got our good boy from.

I like food banks or local charities that help kids / families with meals. Especially with what’s going on with Covid still.

Partners in Health does a lot to provide basic healthcare in countries and communities that desperately need it!

My wife works at a homeless shelter, and they always need new socks.

One of the biggest factors in success in America is having a two parent home. Foster kids are especially disadvantaged. There are a number of charities that help foster kids go to college (only 5% do) and transition to the adult world as they often lack the support that many of us in the War Room probably had. A lot of this is run through community college charity programs.

Local food banks are amazing, especially in cities as well as low income rural areas. I used to volunteer in my hometown, this is making me want to start again!
