Fed up after a year

Is it just me, or does anyone else start getting really fed up with the broken processes at their current job after a year?

I know the average tenure is a sales employee is 18 months so I’m not too far off, but I can admit I might need to change my mindset.

What’s your take? Is it sales in general, Covid related or do I need to stop whining?

Been with my current company for 5 years and the broken processes finally were enough for me to call it quits. Sales is a unique profession where every company needs us, but damn do they tend to drive us into the ground.

I always have three things: money/learning/enjoyment of culture. As soon as I lose 2 of the 3, I bounce.

Great 3 things to keep an eye out throughout my tenure. Culture is good but not sure money and learning have ever been that strong here

Not sure if you are speaking operationally, but if you are talking about broken sales processes (like their shitty prospecting strategies) then try to be creative and implement your own process. If it's a success, you can share that with management and make a case for why things need to change. If you're that fed up and thinking about leaving anyway, you don't have much to lose here.

My frustration is also operationally but the process advice is great, I’ll give it a shot

Depends on what processes, tbh.

if I am used to them and am hitting target/making good money, why would I start all over?!

Yeah I guess if I was killing commissions then I can shrug a lot of this off...

When you don't have training or support that leads to helplessness.  That's not in our DNA.  So we move. You'd think companies would try to fix what's broken, but I digress.
