So in addition to being a full sales cycle AE, we also are responsible and give a separate quota for renewals by existing customers. None of that AM nonsense and god have mercy if they left this shit up to CS. So the quotas are 90% of the prior year’s transaction to give you wiggle room and not penalize you. Luckily my manager is a savage and always ups the ante. Anything over that 90% retires new business quota. This Contractor acquired another company requiring them to increase their capacity. They didn’t take the bait on some other upswell overtures but they have another acquisition cooking that’s going to force their hand one way or another. LFG.
