Finally....After Chasing It for 15 Years.....

Yesterday, I bought a 2021 Escalade.

This isn't a linkedin "humnblebrag" or any of that bullshit. Not even a brag, but I figure this community might have a few souls who I can share a little excitement with without getting roasted

I've always loved cars, its one of my things. I've owned many of them over the years, but the Everest of cars for me has always been the Escalade. I've had Tahoe's, Explorers, Trailblazers, Denali's, and last but not least Minivans (I'm have 4 kids). I've been close, but there has always been something holding me back from pulling the trigger. The 2021 model is freaking ridiculous, and while I know it won't last -- my smile yesterday was ear to ear.

A private jet. Today id buy an Airbus A220, but the latest and greatest when I can finally afford it. . Plus, in my vision of a private jet, the vision isn’t complete if I don’t have the properties to go with it. . I have a dream of own palaces (literal palaces) that I build in all my favourite destinations around the world. And each of these palaces has a private airstrip. I can takeoff and land on my property, continent to continent, without anyone ever know if I was coming or going. . One day I’ll have both, and I won’t have one without the other.

This is so awesome to hear! Why work your ass off everyday, every year and never treat yo self?! Last year, we put in a luxury kitchen in our house. At the beginning of the year, I told my boss that I needed to sell “x” amount to buy my kitchen and he did everything in his power to keep me on track and motivated to make it happen.

yeah, the next mountain for me only comes with some sort of exit, large payoff. At that level, its more about what's in my "stable" than a single car. But from an exotic standpoint I've always been a Ferrari guy. Beauty on wheels.

I've been chasing after a house of my own complete with a nice garage/workshop for fixing up an old car of some sort. I bought the house about a year ago, and the garage was finished a couple of months ago. About a month ago I bought an old Japanese soon-to-be classic car - and I'm pretty happy with it. The next step would be an old air-cooled classic of some sort I think, maybe a Porsche 🚀
