Finance 101 SOS

so this is slightly embarrassing but I have a very rudimentary understanding of the financial world ๐Ÿคกย
however, I'm selling to people in the financial services industry (VC firms/ Private Equity/ Banks) and I need to better understand how they operate (ik this is vague but the product itself isn't FinTech)ย

what are the best resources to become financially literate fast / not sound like an idiot in my disco callsย

This week in startups (which is a daily podcast) might be helpful. Good financial perspective on the VC world, and they break down terms so it's not all esoteric.

I've always found Investopedia ( https://www.investopedia.com/) a useful resource for this. I don't sell to the finance world but when dealing with CFOs and other bean counters etc in the past I've heard words/acronyms I wasn't sure of so I just jot them down and search for the entry on that site. Essentially it's Wikipedia but with a finance focus.

I have a Bloomberg paid subscription which I purchased when I was drunk. I can share credentials, but that'd reveal my identity :S
