Thanks for the share! I think the pressure we put on finding the perfect fit is wild, not the idea itself but that we seem to tell our kids that's their goal. I doubt there is much of a chance that people just fall into the perfect fit right off the bat, the biggest thing is finding what you were meant to do and then being willing to jump over to it.

Yeah, gotta pay the bills or you make too much that you get the "golden handcuffs". That's why you should invest then be able to get out of the rat race.

Yeah, I had gone through this chart practically through a thing called LIFE, lmao.

I know that my calling is in making art products for peeps that are just like me, and for me to get there I'll have to learn many other things along the way and also try to gain the capital to start printing is also in the way.

This is the way - great stuff. So you are capitalizing some money to start your own business?

yep that's the point of going through sales , right? Capitalize, not just economically but networking, closing deals, time management, leading people, understanding industries, and knowing how to also maintain a goal or momentum are all important things we all need practice not just outside of work. The more we do that, the more success we'll have in whatever we'll do.

So yeah, I want to know what success looks like and feels like before I jump into ventures that I truly don't feel myself comfortable in.

I love that it has nothing to do with the traditional “passion”. No one is passionate about cold calls - they are just good at it and see the impact behind it.

I find that the "passion" concept sometimes falls into the toxic positivity bucket.

I've got a really bad inner critic. To the point I develop anxiety.

I've got this entrepreneurial itch that needs scratched but I can't seem to narrow in on what to build the biz around.

So, the whole idea of what our calling is, has been something that I've been exploring for a few years. I feel like I am much closer and closer to that quiet place in my head that knows the truth.

The work I was "meant" to do cannot be spoken of on the interwebs. Apparently, people don't find the idea of running through the halls buck-naked with a chainsaw very "PC".

How do you keep yourself motivated under pressure? Yes, I've heard of the usual responses like "finding your why" & "aligning yourself", etc. But I just want to get to the meat of the solution. Are there any specific tactics you guys use to keep yourselves motivated?
