Hard to say, usually in your agreement there will be a "Cliff" which is a point when you own your percentage of options.

Example:
- X amount of shares
- Vesting period 4 years (25% will vest each year)
- 1 year cliff (you will own these options after 12 months)

Check your agreement, maybe they have a lower cliff, usually not though.

It’s a typical one year-cliff (4 yr vesting schedule) That’s why I’m kinda stumped on what to do… can they revoke the options?

This is a bit of a grey area for me... If they just fucked up and didn't remove or revoke your options than YOLO THEM THANGS ASAP!!!!!

typically there is a 1-year cliff for vesting, I would email your old HR to confirm there's no mistake.

A 90-day exercise window is also typical and having options means only that you have the option to buy the shares, not the actual shares.

If you do get to keep the options you'll have 90 days to decide whether or not you want to purchase them -- which means writing a check for the number of shares x your strike price then hoping that there is a positive exit event sometime down the road.

Sounds like a bank error in your favor.

If you aren't supposed to get it, they will claw it back. What does your employee agreement say?

I double checked the stock options grant section in the employment agreement and there’s no clawback clause.  Fingers crossed because it’s a good amount

Sad to be the bearer of bad news, but that's likely why they didn't wait and fired you at 11 months.

I'm severely underpaid. I signed another offer & resigned. They're begging me to stay...

What do you think? I caught Covid at a company sponsored team outing, I took a two week paid leave to recover and received no quota relief for the month of August.

I was hired at a really good start up about 4 months ago for a SDR role that I was told I wouldn’t be in for very long. They’re gonna go public in the next year, but Zoom Info reached out to me about an Account exec position. Now I’m wondering if I should take the guaranteed route to AE or let my shares vest and get to AE at the place that took me. Usually I wouldn’t consider jumping so quickly, but AE is AE.
