First time reading The Challenger Sale

Happy Saturday Soldiers & Savages!

About halfway through The Challenger Sale and got curious about what category the war room community falls into. I'd say I mix between the lone wolf, and hard worker. Excited to see where everyone thinks they belong, let's have some fun!

At ease.

Used to be a relationship builder but definitely a challenger now - have demolished by quota since I switched over.

It is definitely a necessary read IMO. I am actually reading it now for a second time as I just got my promo from the SDR world and will be working as an Enterprise AE come Q4 so just jogging the memory. There is definitely some stuff in there that is totally relevant still, and other things that may be redundant depending on how much effort you put into your own professional development. If you don't want to read the full thing though, here is a link that @fuzzyprovided us a while back. Hones in on the main points of the book and gives you all the necessary information in less than 20 pages. He also threw in a test in case you want to see what is resonating.

I'd try to get to AE as soon as possible and then leave. You'd be surprised how big of a pay jump you can get from moving companies as an AE

Nailed it. Clock resets. Itโ€™s a hell of a lot easier to make the money stack as a closer than as the opener.
