First Week at new job recap

What a delightful Friday it is. (minus the whole companies announcing layoffs thing but really thats kind of expected now right?)

After starting my new gig I am reassured that the right decision was made.

I haven't worked in this industry in the past however I am familiar with the space from being in SAAS for a long time. For the respect of anonymity in here I won't get to far into the details however the target clients are VC, Private Equity and other investors in the space.

That said the company is small and the people are all down to earth with the co-founders having been in sales in previous experience.

With all that said I hope this post serves as a beacon for anyone that might be in a company where they aren't feeling great or worried about being let go because that was me all of November and December and writing this today that has all been eased. Just know there are other organizations out there and people looking to hire.
