When a prospect is saying he/she isn't interested it's time to ask questions and listen instead of killing the convo with overexplaining or trying to persuade. It's important to understand what's behind their "I'm not interested" - finding this out is the only way to retain the chances of turning the whole thing around.ย

Your biggest competition is shitty salespeople who donโ€™t listen. Echoing the other comments here, do not keep talking at them.ย 

Ask questions to understand their logic and one of two things will happen:

1) it engages them in a dialogue and can change the course of your conversationย 

2) it helps you understand how you can approach it the next time you reach out.ย

Ask questions. The first question should be "What are you not interested in?" and go from there.

You're unlikely to convert a "not interested" into a meeting by continuing to pitch or being pushy. Best to dig into the objection sand understand why: no pain, no authority, no time, etc. From there you can address the objection head on and try for the meeting.ย

How much runway do you have account wise? If you have hundreds of other accounts, just hang up the phone and move on. Chances are that exact person won't even remember you in a few months and you can hit them again.
