After lunch, prospects are usually more attentive to take calls. This is based on Insurance and law firms, personal opinion.

This will be different for every one... it is NOT about the time of day, it is about the value you are bringing to the table!  Not when, rather WHY should someone take your call.

Call b4 or after work but make sure you have business acumen and know examples of pain within their role and industry.

that's super interesting I have found that's ok for some but from my experience, c suits value their family time more than their work time, whats different for you? would a day time call get in the way of your WR rampages?

Haven't met an exec yet who only works 9-5.

9-5 is when they are busiest with meetings. So, I am for before 9am, after 5pm, during lunch, and randomly throughout the day. Pre/Post/Lunch are my normal outreach times.

These last couple weeks have been slow. But it's been that way for the entire team. I also try and do some call/email outreach during the day. Just depends on how much I can squeak in between other intros and demos.

I get some better phone conversions on those shoulder hours. Email responses are better during market hours.

100% experience.

Nothing turns me off like a salesperson who did zero research on our company. That or outright lie. I get a lot of "We have a great potential opportunity" and the opportunity is just for us to pay to list our company on their website.

My boss falls for this one all the time and sends them to me as "hot leads".

When they ask about it, I do have to understand which features they need, so sometimes I can't just give them a number, so I explain what determines the price and calculate it ASAP during the call.

I’m not a C-Suite but I work with many as clients/prospects.

Generally speaking, cold calls are not appreciated so you gotta warm everything up. Get intros left and right, schedule when possible, and be super super brief with emails.

True execs are rarely sitting at a desk with a line next to them. They are always on the move and they have little free time in the workday.

Sold a private event for a leadership seminar and happy hour for 75 people. Nothing too crazy, typical event, but closed in less than four weeks with a few add-on packages. Same challenges as recently ...
