Future for expatriates?

What are the future prospects of a corporate/enterprise sales professional who speaks English as their main language? I noticed that when living in different countries the local language apply but sometimes some companies hire for international sales roles. Currently I live in Finland but most roles require Finnish hence I am lucky to be in an English speaking company but thinking about the future I am considering to move. I have 3 years experience in sales and now working on finishing my masters in business development part time.

I guess it wouldn't matter the country, rather would matter what you are looking to sell and if that company has English as a primary or choice.

Most companies in Europe would sell to the Nordics in English.

Then you have your classics that weโ€™re already mentioned here : UK, Australia, US/Canada, Singapore, HK etc

I noticed that big European markets such as France, Germany or Spain are usually addressed in their own language (and rightly so).

I just came back from a 2 year stint with my company in Singapore. I was there from Jan 2019 to Jan2021, yes during the pandemic. I expected that that position would have parlayed into another foreign role (I'm American) but after having gone through the pandemic on foreign soil, I really appreciate being back home. Pre-pandemic I thought other english speaking locals like Hong-Kong, AUS/NZ, England however protests and China response in HK was pretty cray and AUS/NZ showed they aren't really like the US after all. Singapore's common/business language is English however they have a slang called Singlish. I have english expat friends that really enjoyed Switzerland.
