FY23 Sentiment?

How are people feeling about hitting their annual quota this coming FY?

Do you think this year you and your team will perform about the same as last year, better, or worse?

I think things look really good for us. We don't have any hard set quotas, but we do have EoY goals. Steady, and sometimes exponential, growth over the past 7 years. We're going to keep doing what we're doing and getting creative along the way.

At least for right now, I am hopeful. Its the New Year, where I am setting goals for myself income wise. Doing a ton of research now on my clients to improve messaging.

Very very skeptical about this. There are one too many changes within my firm, and outside of it too. So I am not too sure.

Our director just increased our deal size minimum pretty substantially and quotas are up.. Ive already started updating my resume and networking with AEs outside my company.

My team has a LOT up in the air. I'm still waiting for the dust to settle a bit before figuring out what things really look like.

I think it will be flat to last year. Persistent inflation, war, energy, and lingering supply chain issues. We will get better at the new normal but unsure 2023 will be much better. That sucks bc only 3 or 4 (including myself) hit quota out of 25 execs.

Not feeling it right now, but in my line of work, only 1 or 2 deals can make your quota. If my key accounts are in a buying mood this year, I'll be in good shape.

Expecting layoffs if we dont get a Series C in the next few months...they told us Q3 we have runway through Q1 2023. I am starting to apply elsewhere

I believe there will be a rebound in the latter half of the year and VC money will start flowing back into markets late march early April

Hopeful. My Q4 deals slid into Q1. A key account just gave the green light to start the pilot as soon as the week of the 16th. Hoping to get the green light on two more pilots next week which would be about 50% of my quota.

For what I can control, looking at fairly certain success.

We’ll deal with the unknown when it shows

My firm had redundancies in December. I’m one of 2 left standing from a team of 6.

Quota is now the same size as the entire team last year. Still haven’t got our territories assigned.

I’m already looking.

I guess it would be same as last year but other factors like Inflation matters and could make a difference hopefully not!
