5% or less.
I can give 7% without approval. I typically don't, but I can.
I can usually talk our team into giving 5% but anything more would need approval and frankly, I wouldn't offer it in 99% of cases.
I don't really want to give discount if I am honest, but if i did i could give 5% perhaps. I would really want the business though and there would have to be potential for other parts to supply
I don't discount without talking to my boss. In general, I followed that rule, even when I could discount significantly, except for the times that I worked for morons. Then I would tell the morons "hey, I'm gonna do X and you should approve it."
2% when it's tech & 5% hardware. Same as fox, we can but we don't xD
Discounting always hurts, but then again, so does not closing!
I prefere giving them something extra for free compared to discounting.
5% is our max before Director approval, his is 10%, then escalated again.
I can give up to 5% but don't offer it unless they request
it.
