Getting a deal across the finish line before quarter-end

I'm trying to get this deal to close before the end of the month/quarter. The buyer has been very tightlipped and discrete about their purchasing process, but has let me know that we should get the sign-back by last Friday. That didn't happen and I haven't been able to connect with her since. Any suggestions on creative ways to re-engage the buyer and get this in before end of the month

"Hey John, I dont mean to put you on the spot but i got to ask, what's going on? I ask because you said we would have this buttoned up last Friday, and now that its almost quarter end my managers breathing down my neck to get every deal in * mild laugh* im sure you get it."

You can put people on the spot and still do it in aa tactful way. Sometimes people just need a little push. The "challenger sale" type guys can be experts at this.ย

Iโ€™m going to try some variation of that, I definitely think this is a situation where I can call them out and put them on spot since Iโ€™ve gotten the verbal.ย
