Ghosting and Rescheduling

Is it just me or are people more likely to reschedule and ghost meetings this time of the year?

This past week I've had like 6 meetings get rescheduled, and all my prospects seem to have their plates full.

How is it going for you guys?

Reschedules galore for me. I sell into the hospitality industry where 90%+ of hotels are understaffed in the U.S. so reschedules and cancels happen often. I shoot for at least 50-60% hold ratio.

It's almost like people know it's EOQ crunch time and they are fucking with us. LOL.

It has been BRUTAL recently for me. Had a week where 10 out of 12 scheduled external calls were no shows

Coming up on Rosh Hashanah which means a lot of schools have a day or two off, so kids are home at random, this coming week. Combined with start of school and kids being Petri dishes lots of parents have had to take time off to deal.

Its always in waves, at least people propose a new time 90% of the time for me

Companies budgets are getting shrunk instead of expanded for the most part. People are worried about their own jobs. It’s kind of understandable but it still sucks

Yeah and I recently switched industries from selling to ops to now HR and let me tell you. HR people SUCK ASS at keeping meetings

I’m in an Account Management role. Seen a massive uptick of no shows, cancellations and reschedules that’s worsening as the year progresses. Downsell and churn rates are through the roof as well, companies are counting every dollar.
