let's say I've researched a company I want to work for. I connect with the VP on LinkedIn and now I want to shoot them a message to get them to consider me.
"Do you like Sales?Because if you're looking for a good one, clothing is 100% off at my place"
"I make cold calls all day, but if you give me yours it will be a hot-call"
"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because I can get you a great deal on <whatever they sell>!”
“Your legs must be tired because you’ve been running through my mind all day, along with the fear that I won’t hit my bonus.”
“I didn’t know that angels could fly so low or that sales quotas could be so high!”

dig through your network, find someone this VP would want to sell to, offer to provide a warm intro in exchange for a warm intro to the hiring manager.

I did this in my current company. I just asked if they are hiring / looking for fresh hires. I also mention that I'm interested in working with the _____ company, so what do they think about this.
Simple. It worked.

Might be good to add what it is about the company that makes you want to work there.

Senior B2B Sales Guy.
Find their phone number and call. Start a simple conversation. Introduce who you are and why you're calling, and see where it goes. This isn't rocket surgery.
