Gobble Gobble

I had 3 meetings scheduled for today. As I finished my prep for each meeting, I'd immediately get an email to reschedule for a variety of reasons. It happened 3 times in a row. In bowling, it would be a turkey.


Anyway, how can I use my powers for good. What event should I prep for to have it immediately get cancelled?

Not sure if you already do this, but my NUMBER 1 tip for meetings that are set is an email the morning of the meeting asking if the time and place is still good for their schedule. This is HUGE (especially for decision makers whos schedules change by the minute) and goes along way toward respecting their time/schedule and building rapport as a high level communicator.ย ย 

If the prospect does not respond to the "meeting reminder" email the day of, you wont be disappointed when they "No-show" and you will have a better understanding of which meetings to prep for and which to not.ย 

Also gives you a chance to reschedule the meeting AND you now have the added benefit of their guilt for missing the first meeting. Happy hunting
