I've used both tools and Gong is so far ahead that Chorus, especially from a user experience stance. If it's not easy to use, sales people won't use it

We evaluated both and have to say Gong.io is superior in a lot of ways, but the scrubbing, tonal analytics, and transcription have been my favorite.

MAN it's been a long time since I've seen Gong. Interesting that they have all these new tools. I'll have to check it out. FWIW we use one of the second-tier ones that isn't listed here.

I only have experience using Gong.io and love it but I hear Chorus.ai is a good benchmark for comparison as far as competition goes.

Not a fan of the technology or how I've seen said technology used. But that could just me being the old man yelling at the clouds.

it seems like 90% of people here are in SaaS, which can produce a bit of an echo chamber, sorry for the downvotes lol
That being said, if you don't embrace tech you will get smoked in the future, unless you're nearing retirement then nevermind, I wouldn't care either

Hey, that's the cost of voicing one's opinion sometimes.

I've spent about half my career in SaaS and a couple more years in SaaS adjacent stuff. But I have friends selling in quite a few different companies and I think I know two people whose companies have Gong/Chorus. I think it really depends on industry.

It seems like this is one of those questions that people are asking all over LinkedIn/slack communities/email groups I'm in.

The answer when it comes to most software also applies here: it depends on your needs. Just like the Salesforce vs. HubSpot, SalesLoft vs. Outreach question. All these companies accomplish approximately the same thing. Determine which features matter the most to you and find the company that does that the best.

I think it's the in thing, also, I do believe something like this helps curb zoom fatigue, just makes life easier

Using Gong.io but looked at Chorus as well, but for some reason, it took them a lot longer to provide pricing

I have also heard Gong is a lot more expensive than Chorus, I don't have the exact numbers though

Has anyone tried the Salesloft AI tool? Haven't added or even demo'd yet but was told it competed with gong?

It's not going to be able to touch Gong, but the pricing will be cheaper. It'd look at Avoma, Pickle or Wingman if you're not doing Gong or Chorus.

Gong is great, get that over Chorus. There are some others out there that are getting some traction SalesLoft built a tool. I thnk Wingman Avoma, and Pickle are all more affordable though. We looked in January.

There is also a bunch of "call center" specific software that does this but I avoid call centers like the plague.

Gong hands down. I've used Chorus in the past and while it's still good it is not at the same level as Gong.

if you search gong or chorus in the war room, this question has been asked quite a few times and might have some additional replies!

They're both great if pricing is overall not a concern. If you're looking for something that's not as expensive, then there are a few others like Wingman, Jiminny, etc.
