Good remote socials ideas?

I am currently in charge of organising socials at work and am really struggling with ideas especially after spending a year and a half of my very badly made zoom quizzes. What have your work done that you have enjoyed whether virtual or face to face?


Things are still pretty strict restriction wise in the UK but hopefully will be lifted on the 19th July!


Really appreciate any ideas!

I’ve heard of companies bringing in a mixologist to teach people how to make certain kinds of drinks (Manhattans, prohibition era drinks, etc.)

100%! Even if the team feels like it's a little goofy doing a wine tasting with a certified somm, at least everyone is drinking together haha

We do weekly socials via zoom and depending on how large your team is, some games such as these provide a laugh when having a beer:

Just simple drawing guessing games but for half n hour its entertaining.

We used to do a trivia night on Tuesday's on Kahoot and then offer small prizes to the winning teams/people. Nothing major but while everything was closed, we would do small amounts for Doordash, Amazon etc.

AirBnB does virtual experience. similiar to the mixologist idea but you can do make fresh pasta or other stuff like that
