Got an offer

What would you choose if you were in my shoes?

I'm new to sales, just got into an AE role in a vendor company (working for a mid-sized company)

I have a diverse BOB, most of it is utter shit and old contacts.

Both my manager and his manager are about to leave for a different company.

generally it is a very laid back company, and it's a nice product.

the new manager if he's going to be an inner promotion would have the same spirit, but if they go outsourcing we might get an asshole manager.

47k$+ commission a year.

then again, I was approached by a recruiter recently about a similar role in a massive well known company. for specifically the enterprise clients.

usually big companies have horrible managing system, and I don't know much about the benefits and so on, as the recruiter was a bit clueless.

70k$ +commission a year (approximately)

what parameters would you consider to make the decision?

which would be better? what would you choose, and why(in the comments)

If you have never sold for a global enterprise, it might be worth it early in your career. You'll get solid training and a sense of what the world feels like when you have PMF.

I voted to basically stay where you are until you have an actual offer in hand.

Alot of this depends on where you are in your career and what you are looking for both short and long term. Personally, I would go the Global Company route because its great experience.

It sounds to me like they are having this prospect doing their bidding and then report back to them and using them as a medium because if they don't even know the budget, chances are they are not high up the ladder.

You can frame it like you want to make sure your offer fits within their budget and that if you involve the DMs you can get direct feedback from them and then redesign your offer around their reaction.
