Grammar

What's your stance on purposeful (but minor) grammar errors in outreach - ie, capitalizing words mid-sentence, writing in all lower-case, etc.? Hard for me to bring myself to do it but seems to yield results/engagement for some people

I've seen some people vouch for this but honestly, I'd be annoyed. I wouldn't read after the first sentence. Although, I do think you might get better open rates with this technique.
I started a thread on grammar earlier today too: https://bravado.co/war-room/posts/how-much-does-grammar-matter-in-sales

Am I reading this correctly?  Are you saying messages written entirely in lowercase have a good response?   I can’t imagine that happening if you approaching B2B at a senior level.  I guess it would depend on the age of who you are targeting and the medium (email vs text messages).

Weird capitalizations and misspelling more so in email, fully lower case I've seen done more over LinkedIn - never understood why do that but also never understood how they yielded meetings either

the psychological angle is 'this wasn't a mail merge or Outreach email'

Being an effective sales person means being an effective communicator and I have too much pride in that respect to cheapen that with intentional grammatical errors.

But that’s just me.

I suppose it depends on who you are selling to but personally, I don't like it.
