Gratitude for the close - How far do you go to thank the assist team (BDR, Sales Eng, Customer Success...)

People love recognition, and it's free. How far do you go to recognize people that helped at any point in the closing of a deal? Its a tricky question, because if you are really consistent at recognizing the efforts of others, people are disappointed if their effort wasn't included in the shout out.

How far do you go to recognize team mates?

Thank everyone publicly in an email.

If someone went above and beyond I'll send them an e-giftcard privately.ย

Depends on how they are comped, but I think a gift is appropriate for big deals. Bottle of champagne/wine, gift card, something like that would be best practice.
