Great inbound email from a frustrated (non) prospect

My BDR got this over the weekend. So naturally I praised him for his persistence.

Here's the poll. How many emails did my BDR actually send to get this response?! I'll reply with the answer after the poll has a while to roll :D

Added: aaaaaand the correct answer is actually exactly 12. Not sure why the guy added the + to it? Probably to make it more dramatic

How many emails did my BDR actually send?

Thanks for this great content, Ashley. Can't believe your BDR sent this many emails and left that many voicemails just to sell a Geo Metro.

Right? I love when prospects get all pissy about receiving phone calls and emails when if they just had the balls to pick up the phone or answer one email with a polite response that they aren't interested at this time or whatever, they wouldn't get badgered anymore (for a while at least lol.)ย

Exactly. Chances are if you just get back to me and politely say "no thank you" or "not interested " imma stop bothering you. If you dont respond imma keep wasting both our time

Lol same. Even better if they tell you when a better time is to reach out, be it in a few weeks, months, or never. Help me help to not annoy you ffs.

So what I get from this email is that they definitely do want to be contacted again, preferably once a day and they'd like me to drop by for holiday dinners. Noted.

Question, how can i start giving people "REPSONSE"s?ย
Lol this person has clearly never sold anything, and they were probably taken advantage of by a car salesman at some point.ย
Also the "STTTTTTOOOOOOPPPPPP" actually made me laugh. He should frame this email on his desk to remind him that his persistence got him a reply and sometimes people just have a bad day.ย

2nd point - never a bad thing to look at the outreach process and see how it can be better personalized (if this keeps happening).ย

Does the (non) prospect still want the gift basket with cheese and wine you were about to ship though?

The prospect had to take their bad day out on someone. It was gonna be a sales email in their inbox, and it just so happens they chose your BDR. You should buy him/her a gift for winning this lottery!

The "professional persistence" email is 4th in my last company's standard outreach email sequence. So I'm voting 4.ย

In tech sales and I have a pdf step-by-step guide on how to find the "unsubscribe" button that I like to send in response to this.

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)
