Green Eggs and Ham

Reading to my 3 month old son it finally dawned on me. This book could well be the ultimate sales manual. “Never take no for an answer” runs deep through this book, providing alternatives and offering different points of view. Interested to hear the thoughts of the war room if they agree?

So many children’s books have amazing messages that could be applicable to sales and life as an adult

I used to train new SDRs at my old company, and Green Eggs and Ham was always my reference when we talked about objections.
Usually the reps would either laugh or give me a confused look, but by the end of the conversation they typically agreed.
It is persistence, but i also highlight that getting a no in one situation doesn't mean a no forever, the prospect might be in a different scenario later on.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Isn't the takeaway supposed to be to try new things? I bet Dr. Seuss himself didn't think of it that way. That's what is great about books though.
