Gun pulled on me during sales call, what're your best war stories?

Not click bait, the chick actually answered her door with a handgun pointed at me. Reason? I knocked twice and "should have got the message when I didn't answer the first time, you dumbass"

I acted interested and asked her if it was a barreta, but she got mad so I figured I should cut back the smart-assery.

"Well it may help with door to door guys but it won't help with this conga line of pissants that have prbly been bothering you all summer..."

*proceeds to close sale*

By far the best $225 I've ever made.

Any crazy war stories?

Bonus points if it's from door to door

Was training a new hire on in person sales. We had some time to kill and decided to do a cold drop in at a nearby restaurant/bar. Walked in and introduced ourselves, the owner looked at our business cards, immediatelyย started hyperventilating and backtracking quickly yelling "I DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH XZY COMPANY" and threw us out of the restaurant.ย

We were there for no more than 30 seconds, it was WILD.ย

What I should have gone with was โ€œit seems like we caught you on a bad day, we will swing by tomorrow insteadโ€

Iโ€™m so thankful Iโ€™ve never been in B2C sales! If someone pulled a gun on me Iโ€™d probably puke on their feet.

Lol sounds like my first "sales" job. In college, I was a cavasser collections donation subscriptions for a said interest group. I was sent to prospect houses in East Oakland and the Alameda area. One door I knocked on, the guy opens the door, has red shorts, shirt and processeds to lift his shirt up and brandish a pistol.ย

I noped the fuck out real quick. I proceeded to get fired that week cuz apparently gang ridden areas are a great place to prospect for environmental issues, who would have guessed..lolย

Cutco tried to get me in uni. Once I realized what was going on I literally laughed out loud. Got out as soon as I could without being (more?) disrespectful.
