Dude, he’s a hustler just like us. He came up the hard way, his salespeople are commission-only. I know. I used to work for him. . I didn’t enjoy it, but I learned enough to make me incredibly valuable to others. Feels like a fair trade to me. . Pandemic hits, he has no obligations. Like literally, he doesn’t offer safety nets, severance, benefits, etc. Its sink or swim with him, and the people who work for him KNOW what they’re signing up for. He doesn’t sugarcoat shit either, to his credit. . Now he may have gotten soft over the years, but he was a stud salesperson in his own rite over time. Today he’s just a hype-machine. He monetizes his fame and his following. Again, can you really hold that against him? He’s a recovered addict who came from nothing and built it all from scratch

I have it spread out but I also used to build portfolios that kicked off around 5% with different ETFs.  I also use staked GUSD on Gemini for a 7.4% APY.  And yes, way better than a savings account where inflation is eating away at my purchasing power.  I still think people should have some cash set aside for emergencies, 3-6 months of fixed expenses.

Real estate dude.. just like he says. Buy a quad-plex. Have 4 sets of tenants pay the mortgage. Typically you’ll gross 1.5X of what the mortgage is. You get away with 0.5X - things like insurance and saving for potential maintenance. Plus you build equity and benefit from potential appreciation on the property. . Then you leverage the equity, save up, and buy the 2nd, the 3rd, etc etc.
