Had a virtual on-site panel interview and wondering if I’m screwed

I think I bombed the 1st out of 4 of the interviews. First being the take home assessment. but I feel really confident about the last 3 interviews.

Am I screwed? how are these panel interviews measured??

hard to know....we really wouldnt know how much each is valued in the companies eyes.

but I would imagine if you did really well in the interview they may give you a pass on the assessment.

but i might just be making that up.

Isn't virtual on-site a bit of an oxymoron?

All may not be lost though. Has the deadline when you expected to hear back passed yet?

You're in sales, dealing with people is probably the most important part so don't despair yet.

Was there an expectation set as to when you should hear back?

So you didn't ask for clarification on the assignment AND you didn't close the interview...

Sounds like you did fuck up.

Lesson learned.

I asked for clarification by calling my recruiter and digging deeper into the assignment but the assignment was vague and she couldn’t share that much context. So I did the assignment and I did it as instructed.

But very little was given on the call I asked for clarification. I think I did an okay job on it but missed a critical point that was not necessary asked about in the assignment.

As far as closing the interview there were 4 back to back interviews with different people so there was no room for asking about when i would hear back as the interview were all themed.

How about you stop judging me with no real context. The interviews were timed by them with only 30 minutes and they did not leave time for questions at the end.

You gotta take control. That's part of the interview process becuase it's an analogy for a sales process.

Did you bomb the take home or an interview?

Why do you think you bombed?

The take home had to to be reviewed on the first call I don’t think it was what he expected and I think I left out some important things. 😩

Sorry, but plenty of fish in the sea!

Lessons learned:
1) Ask for clarification. Repeat back in your own words. If recruiter doesn't know ask the people who you're presenting to.
2) Control the room. Make sure you have time to ask questions and "close" the interview.
