I have been thinking of trying some creative ways to get the attention of a few key enterprise prospects (CxO, VP, etc.) of mine. I've had limited success with emailing or LinkedIn social selling these guys, so thought I'd try something creative - sending a hand-written note to them, with my business card in it. This assumes I can get their office address (some of them I have). My logic is that if they get a hand-written note, they think, "Wow, this guy took the time to do this and not just fire off an email - maybe he is worth talking to." But... is it weird or unprofessional to do that? Is hand-written too personal? What do you think?
