Happy Memorial Day

In sales we like to use war metaphors all the time. We view ourselves as soldiers on the frontlines, battling for revenue and company prosperity. And while our day-to-days can be grueling, it's important to take a step back and think about why that metaphor even exists.

There are actual people out there who sign up to serve, protect, and many times, sacrifice their lives for the country that we live in and the values we cherish as Americans. I'd love to use this thread as a chance to recognize veterans that we've lost or have had an impact on our lives in some way.

If there's someone you want to shoutout or a story that you feel is important to share, please post below so that we can spread some thanks and love to the people who contribute more to our society than most of us realize. Thank you for your service and Happy Memorial Day.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Thanks for doing this, Corp. My grandfather (never had the chance to meet him) helped free the concentration camps at the end of WWII. The things those guys saw stuck with them forever. If you know one/some of the few WWII vets left, make sure to thank them for what they did.

I know plenty who serve/served; my dad among them. ย Thankfully, none of them paid the ultimate sacrifice. ย Great message here, Corp.
