Hardest part being a CRO/SVP/VP?

For all the folks that have been in a CRO/SVP/VP role: what are the most challenging aspects of your job, generally or specific? What takes up the bulk of your time?

What do you wish someone would have told you when you were going into the new role that would have helped you, but that you had to learn "through fire"?

One of the things that holds true with every promotion I've gotten is that it's "lonely at the top".

When you're the leader, you are expected to have all the answers and if you don't, there aren't a ton of places you can turn.

This is very valuable and great introspection. Always good to have at least one person to confide in. Thank you.

Agreed. You can tell when a leader is being disingenuous. Thank you.

There are actually studies that midweek is the best way to close a deal. There was a whole article about it. I'll link in this thread once I find it. But just curious, would you hold a deal till Friday? Would you rather not close it on Monday if you had a chance?
