Has anyone ACTUALLY been able to apply to a job through Bravado?

I keep seeing open roles posted on LinkedIn or other job boards, yet...

A) can never apply

B) "My application is in good hands" - whose?

C) Starting to wonder if Bravado is as full of sh*t as every other company that says they're hiring.

Anyone know WTF is up?

"Landed an interview" means nothing? companies that are hiring AEs interview and reject at least 25 people a week dont they? I've landed like 30 interviews just from inbound messages on my linkedin over the past 2 months.

Amen to that. The way talent is sourced is soooo broken. Way too many good people out there being overshadowed. There has to be a better way.

It's all about max throughput now, hardly anyone takes the time to actually vet roles and people's experiences.

Same issue with keyword searches on resumes. I get filtered out right away because I don't have the education background most people my age do. Blind applying never works for me.

They're not full of shit, but I think we've seen that the process needs some tweaks/improvement.

I'd make sure you cast your net MUCH wider.

I received a part time offer - 100% compensation based for finding/creating warm leads for a marketing firm. I honestly would have done it too (setting up a click funnel is passive as can be in this case), but got a new job with strict non-competition rules in my contract.

@gunforhire can you say more about the part time offer? Like you said, if anyone decent with online marketing it sounds like easy money. I've thought about doing it on the side but I don't know how to find those gigs or how much they pay

@DigitalTreatsPlzI should have clarified - thanks for mentioning me again. I wasn't actively looking on bravado but filled out a questionnaire that was sent out via mass email by Sahil, Bravado CEO. The form was basically questions regarding how many hours I a week I could work a part time gig, what compensation would need to be, and my interests.

A few weeks after I submitted that, a VP reached out directly with the offer for this part time gig. I had already signed my offer letter for my current gig and would have been in violation of the agreement if I had moved forward. Hopefully that helps provide more clarity!

I posted mine 3 months ago, relatively new to SaaS but killed it in my last role. Application is still in good hands.

Part of the problem on Bravado's end may be that you need to constantly keep "updating" your profile. I wonder how many un-updated profiles have been relegated to the bin .

I think it's a few factors. We're new and growing. Most profiles are not optimized yet. I need to complete my profile as well. Also not clear if an application has been submitted after submission.

I am optimistic about this place. It takes time to find your stride.

It does. Super frustrating, hence some of snark, when you’re unemployed and trying everything. But this has less to do with Bravado and more to do with the complete ineptitude of the tech/software field. If someone like Sam Freed can sell a ponzu scheme for billions and claim its “tech” then the field is nothing I want anything to do with

Yea I tried to apply for SDR at bravado but it only took me to a link to join bravado as a user. Pretty shitty tactics if you ask me

It's why i don't ever apply to jobs. treat is as a prospect, the product is yourself. Haven't sent a resume to anyone, and have 3 opps lined up over the next several weeks!
