Has anyone else just sent the "f*ck - it" email/contract?

I just got tired of trying to call this owner as he has given me a few verbals that they are going to do it. But has since then ghosted me. I just sent him an email saying that "Either we need to move forward or I need to close this file out" basically but with nicer language and then sent him a new agreement to boot. The guy opened the email instantly but nothing.

Would you have done the same?

At a certain point, it's either a priority or it's not. They need to get off the fence. It's our job to hold them accountable.

i have done this before for sure! It was more common when I was selling smaller deal size. ($2,500-$5k ARR).

Deal length was pretty short and if ppl kept stringing me along i would do just what you did.

It normally was a sign that I was NOT going to win the deal. But some people just need you to tell them you are going to forget about them to take action.

totally makes sense to do sometimes. If they ghosted you for awhile, you have nothing to lose by trying this

Absolutely. You can only chase a deal for so long.

Too many variables, if it was a smaller deal and its been a very long time, then yes I would. In the space I deal with though i tend to take a longer approach and will just prioritize deals accordingly.

Fish or Cut Bait - you can't spend months and month on smaller deals. But I would do it in a nice way so you can reach back out in 6 months to see if things have changed for them.

If someoneโ€™s ignoring me Iโ€™ll send a calendar invite. It always at the bare minimum gets a response & an explanation on why timing is off

Literally my favourite card to play.

When they sign immediately, I get disappointed that I don't get to threaten to not let them hahaha

Is there anything sweeter than seeing a prospect who ghosted you cc'd on an email from their boss?
