If people would stop getting COVID at my company, we could stop talking about it. It's funny when they have a solution available to them, but refuse to take it.

Yeah in the southeast nobody cares or has worried about masks for like the past year. If I don’t watch the news, it’s like covid doesn’t exist.
It's alarming to me that this happens. I carry a mask with me and still wear it out of respect in some places. People look at me like I'm insane.
I’m in the same club as you. I have about 30 masks at this point in every possible spot (doors in the house, glove box, jacket pockets, pant pockets, work office, sports bags, backpacks, briefcase, etc) but have been wearing less just so I’m not looked at like I’m a bad person.

Yes. As an introvert who hates people, I tend to reserve at least 1 day of my weekend with no contact to recharge. And I spend that day relaxing, not thinking about this glorified cold that the world is whining about.

It’s old news in Orange County. We’ve all gotten past it. There’s no masks, all the businesses are open, and life’s good/back to normal. ~2 hrs north in LA they will fine you if you don’t wear a mask when you walk into a business. Also heard that they are trying to institute another round of lockdowns.
I never really talk much about it when I’m home in OC. But when I was in LA this weekend it felt like I took a time machine to the start of the pandemic and all anyone can talk about was the spooky new delta variant. People there are truly ridiculous.
