Has anyone used virtual assistants or freelancers for territory data/list scrubbing/etc?

Trying to embrace more of a "4-Hour Workweek" or "Getting Things Done" type mindset and find ways to outsource tasks that aren't worth my time/attention. A big time suck is the nitty gritty of finding details about what whitespace accounts make sense to go after in the geography or other things like that.

Does anyone use Upwork or Fiverr or something similar to find virtual assistants and offload that work to maximize your time?

If so, how does that work for you? If not, what territory data tips do you have to save time?

I've got an entire team based in the Philippines that does a lot of the manual data nitty gritty work for my team (add contacts to CRM, append cell phone numbers, clean up contacts no longer with company).  The main factor is, the task you are looking to outsource has to be VERY process oriented, and you have to outline the process VERY detailed.  This isn't something were you can say "I want you to go find details about my whitespace" and expect them to intuitively think/act like you do.

I agree 100%! Leaves minimal room for margin of error or miscommunication for your desired outcome.

I have used fiverr for quite a while. Its cheap, fast and most importantly I don't have to do it. Sometimes the people you hire will try to turn in crap work so you have to check them.

Yeah I’ve used tons of individual freelancers for this sort of stuff.

plenty of good apps/platforms to facilitate this or help you find them. Just depends on needs.

You are given an account list with over 250 accounts (no salesforce, you have to work off an excel sheet), what steps/processes do you implement to ensure all accounts are being touched? How many do you target a week? Month? Etc.
