Have any of you ever tried to move to an office in another country to experience living abroad? If so, where and how’d it go?

If you get the chance just do it. Of course I wouldn't recommend doing it indefinitely but I was able to spend 2 years in Australia to help build out the new sales team office there. It was a blast and I will always cherish those moments.
Something exactly like that is an experience I’d love to have. With Australia being quite culturally similar to the US, was it a relatively easy acclimation for you?
Besides the accents and some words they use, yes it was very easy!
I did also go to some European countries for an internship and actually was able to do some sales there. That was a whole different world (language and culture). I was only there for 4 months but I still loved it!
If you know the language of the country you might be able to go to then I would highly recommend it.

So I did this earlier in my career. Highly recommend if you are single/partner is excited by the opportunity. I was tasked to head up a new office for two years in London. Amazing experience and it gives you a new understanding of how businesses operate abroad. I think it would be great for personal development and professional
I did an internship in Colombia and it was amazing, but a huge culture shock. Taking the time to learn the native language and having a local friend to help guide you makes a world of difference.
What was your internship there for?
that's not a country you see for internships every day. that sounds awesome.
