Have you ever found and/or closed a deal on the golf course?

So I always though this was a myth that old bag carriers told so they could keep playing golf as business meetings... until I did it.

Few months ago, playing golf with my buddies, a rando joined us on the third tee box. After chatting (and him kicking our ass on the course) found out that he was C level at a company I’ve been trying to get into.

Long story short, used his intro to land a deal.

Has any of you other sales killers actually found deals on the course? Or was this just luck of the draw

How do you normally network on the course? Just walk up to randoms on the driving range/club house or just hope to get lucky with who you are paired with?

Yup. The clubhouse is fantastic. Walk up with a beverage so you're not empty handed 😎
