For number 1 know what profile you want to join, donโt try and massage people who arenโt a fit into that profile.
Process - Since you worked at the ground level, you'd know a lot of processes that worked, and processes that could have been eliminated or tweaked to achieve better results. Put that into place at the start. Its better to get it right in the first attempt.
