Have you ever made a sale through an unexpected ICP?

For example, I was going through a completely different division just to try and find the right person in the main target (in this case it was Verizon Connect) and I ended up being able to close on two separate divisions because it turned out the people I was in conversation with wanted to one-up the other division.

Have you ever made an unexpected sale? It was a very pleasant accident.

Ya as the pandemic was happening we had a huge big box retailer buy our restaurant software in order to take reservations and manage capacity during COVID, nice unexpected win.

Never an unexpected sale, but an unexpected loss because one division decided to buy our competitor and blocked us from the procurement office.

Once had a famous American sculptor as an inbound for our VR software.

Dude was old as dirt and ended up investing like 15k into a PC to run it.

We're talking dual Titan cards.

Hell yeah. I ended up selling my non SaaS product to a company that created a new business where he could use our product. Ofcourse had to take him through a complete market potential landscape and the gaps that still existed.

We normally target e-commerce directors or managing directors - my biggest sale was the sales director. Thought it was going to be a hard one but I guess minds think alike!

Yes - one time had someone purchase from me to then gift to a school. They were super rich and didn't care about price. Was pretty easy - lol love bluebirds
