Have you ever seen a rep get software purchased?

I’ve had reps show up to discos bc they are interested to learn and my first instinct is to get them off the phone ASAP.

I’ve had 1 deal where it was started from a Team Lead end up closing but have you ever had a deal closed that was started with a rep?

Or have you ever been a rep and convinced your company to purchase software?

Rep ever bought software?

It depends on a lot of internal factors. In my case, I'm 1 of 2, so both of us and all the seniors were involved in the decision process, but we wouldn't have bought it if I didn't seek it out.

I've had successful deals where reps were my first point of contacts and either they loop people in directly to the conversation or they sell internally for me and get everything approved. I find that the reps I can sell too typically have used the product in the past so they are internal champions and really fight to have the tool so leadership listens to them

I'm a rep, for a super small start-up, and I've bought software.

Also means the sales rep that gave me the time of day is the one that won.

I have not. This is an interesting question though.

Nearly 60 in the US do, and I feel like schools are adding the program to their list all the time. However, I feel that sales is a mash-up of a bunch of majors such as Economics, Sociology, Marketing, Communications, etc. Each program lends skills to a well-rounded sales professional.
