Have You Ever Successfully Transitioned Into A Global Sales Role In A Different Country?

Curious to know if any sales savages here have been able to leverage their experience into a role in a different country? For example, moving from a US based role to an EMEA or APAC based role, or vice versa. Secondary to that, any advice for a somewhat younger but well experienced/accomplished closing seller to do so?

Itโ€™s possible, but itโ€™s massively important to understand that the cultural differences geographically are very real in sales. Especially for Americans in other regions. Just make sure you do your research, and if you do, itโ€™s very possible to be successful in other regions.ย

I moved from APAC to EMEA and I would do it again and again, it helps so much to understand different markets and ways that prospects work.
It can be a steep learning curve but being able to deal with a wider range of prospects helps so much. (also personas are super different within EMEA too so there's a ton to learn)

Move from NYC to APAC. 1st hire in APAC to do sales. Only advice I can give is roll with the punches and be relentless
