I think you’d be surprised to learn that the average age of the community is too low to get to that mid-life stage.

I had a COVID-life crisis and bought a lake house myself.

I mean, a little past quarter-life crisis. I'm single, have disposable income, savings, and investments, and likely will take a pay cut to live in the EU for a while. 

If covid has taught me anything, it's that life's too short to keep putting off the things you want to do since there are no real guarantees for anything.

My drive train replacement for my Mtb cost me just over $700 last year.

I picked up a $5000 fat tire over the winter, have a couple other high end Mtbs and a high end TT bike for triathlons.

All together not as much as a nice Porsche (>$50k) but I have a nice truck to haul them all around in and it matches my personality and lifestyle.

I’m the only boomer in this group. I’m a bald 320 lb 55 year old short man and I’m well into my mid life crisis. I find myself looking at boats, airplanes and my next or final career most of the time.

I’ve also thought about stepping away from sales and having no plan. Seeing what happens next for me.

it’s such a romantic thought if I didn’t have mouths to feed.

Quarter-life crisis: did the car and the house - the house I do not regret because I flipped it and made a big mf bag. The car I do regret because the car is just not me. Should've gotten something else.
