Have you/someone you know ever used a resume writing service?

I've heard recently the niche of resume writing has gotten quite large and it was interesting to me as I never really considered using it even though the idea of paying 50 bucks to put my best foot forward in the application stage is probably a no brainer, I also haven't been on the job hunt for a few years.

Have any of you used a service like this before and if so

• What did it cost
• What did they provide (1 and done, rewrites, etc)
• How did you pick who to use
• Did you find you landed more interviews after

Full disclosure I've always just used the build a resume function from Linkedin so I'm unaware of what else is out there really
