Does having children make you sell more? I’ve heard yes bc it’s a newfound motivation but curious on other input

I think if anything it kept me in the game longer. Being able to keep affording my tastes (I’m like a beermosa, not full champagne), while also affording daycare and diapers motivates me to keep hustling.

Helps and can hurt in different ways...


being young and 'single' (not a statment against being young with a kid) but you typically can find more time to dedicate to working outside the normal job hours...


being a parent, you have way more pressing (and rightfully so) commitments, so you're going to have to work around family commitments and responsibilities...


having kids can give you another avenue of authenticity and credibility of being a real normal person, I've had plenty of bosses or supporting staff ie sales engineers who are able to weave in stories or rapport over being a parent that I dont necessarily have the ability to do.


End of the day mad respect for those who can balance both worlds and do it successfully!
