Headphone recommendations for making calls?

I got airpod pros and I feel like they just connect to everything that's near them. I might sound like a boomer here, but I switched back to the ol trusty wired non bluetooth ear buds. Never had an issue with those.

Thought about getting some type of fancy headset or even a podcast like mic setup, but don't really see the need. Sometimes those setups/headsets just seem like a hardo unnecessary move, but maybe it's worth it.ย

as someone who works from home with 2 dogs and 2 kids (and I have ADHD) head phones are a MUST.ย

I look for headphones that will keep out any noise so I can HEAR what ppl are saying, but also keep out any noise so the person I am talking too can hear what I am saying, and not the kids running down the hall.ย

Jabra Evolve 75 is killer at this. THey are not cheap, but 100000% worth it. I use it for phone calls and zoom calls. Its so nice I have had prospects ask me what headset Im using multiple times ( i should have an amazon affiliate link!)ย

I also use bose headphones for just listening to music/blocking out noise once when im not on calls

I second the Jabra elite 75! I bought mine, then my whole sales team wanted a pair. Itโ€™s the standard now.

I will definitely take a look at those. I love the noise cancelling feature especially when Iโ€™m traveling on a plane or around other people.
Sometimes it feels weird to talk when you canโ€™t really hear yourself, but maybe Iโ€™ll give it another shot

great point. that was another KEY function I looked for. The jabra does have the functionality where when I speak i hear my self in the headset as well,ย

this can be controlled and increased or decreased. That and the microphone isolating my voice are the 2 main reasons I use the Jabra over my wicked nice Bose headphones.ย

They are pretty legit, I switch between the noise cancellation and hear-through all the time

@lackofbudget thereโ€™s a game changer setting on the airpod pros you can turn on where it only connects to the device you want if it was LAST connected to it.
Used to have the same issue you mentioned, I donโ€™t anymore!
If you do end up interested in the headset route: Iโ€™m on calls and demos all day - i use the Jabra elite 75 wireless. I love โ€˜em. Our whole team uses them, zero complaints.

That's huge, I'm going to do that. I love using the airpod pros, it would just keep switching to different devices near me and after it happened a few times while I was on calls I gave up

Mentioned this on another post - jabra Evolve2 85. Pricey, but sound quality is out of this world, last forever, and they they completely block out ambiant noise.
If mine broke today, I would expedite a pair for tomorrow morning
100% totally worth it

I love the Bluetooth Jabras. They connect to everything, and are easy to toggle between the offerings.
